DIY Time! Fabric Covered Bulletin Board Tutorial:
Okay, here's what you'll need:
Scrap fabric
Scissors
Cork (in any shape or size!)
A glue gun (ignore my stapler... that did not work out so well!)
This adorable mini cork board only requires one step: Stretch the fabric over the board (pin or tape in place if you'd like) and hot glue it to the edges! After I glued it down, I went around the edges and cut off excess fabric. PS: I made these cork circles out of one big, paint splattered bulletin board! Yay for recycling!
I found that stretchy fabric worked the best, but any properly sized cloth will work. I used some thrifted, ill-fitting dresses for my fabric! What do you think? Here is the URL to the original tutorial (in Spanish): http://www.muyingenioso.com/tablon-de-notas-con-salvamanteles-de-ikea/
