Review: The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum

Today I finished reading The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum! I highly recommend this fast read - but only if you've got the stomach for it. This gruesome tale details the horrific account of a girl who is abused in every way imaginable by her Aunt and the children in her neighborhood. She is held captive in the basement of their home and tortured simply because the other characters are bored. This book left me both terrified and disturbed by the ability of a leader to control a group.

I was so excited to receive the Darby Smart package in the mail - the teal and white chevron box was absolutely adorable!

Inside the box was a plain pink clutch, two Ziploc bags with two different sized studs inside, a Made By Me tag, E600 glue, and an applicator!

I got to work decorating my clutch with a row of larger studs on top and a smaller row below that one. Here is the finished look!
